For sale by appointment only at our Brisbane location are varied genuine used telephone related collectibles.
Extremely rare round VR post boxes and reasonably priced pillar boxes are available in exacting fibreglass or cast iron replica form. We also supply timber (and fibreglass dome) plat packed exact replicas of UK K6 and K8 phone boxes that are able to be fitted and set up in difficult access locations. These are all quality UK products and we do not deal in cheap unsympathetic poor Chinese replicas.
Apart from these products all our telephone and postal related items are all genuine used UK street items. UK K6 red phone kiosks are 800kg each and in structurally sound condition and also in good used street appearance. Dimensions are 2.6 metres high x 0.9 metres x 0.9 metres and we can assist with interstate delivery or even local placement with our own trucks and forklift brought to your site.
We have pillar post boxes also for sale and coin and stamp boxes. Also we have sourced from the UK many 4 – 5 metre high ornate cast iron turn of the century gas lamps and we also arranged supply of some used ornate bronze / glass lamp heads as well as engaging a local UK craftsman to turn out some more bronze lampheads for us. These sold together make of a striking and elegant garden feature and are easy to have wired to work on a timer and on site we have a few posted in erected and working order. Cast posts can be left in their worn and rusty and flakey paint patina appearance or we can arrange for sandblasting and powder-coating to a colour of your liking.
Some of our items have been over the years hired by Melbourne Docklands movie makers keen to replicate a London street scene or used in local TV advertisements or print media publication and we have dropped on site out phone boxes to a number of weddings and other events to be used as a backdrop. We are always open to discuss hire arrangements and associated transport and positioning assistance.
